The Vázquez Consuegra studio has won third prize in the International Competition for Projects for the renovation and expansion of the GAM – Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art) in Turin.
The competition, promoted by the Fondazione Torino Musei, aimed to redefine the GAM as a leading civic gallery for modern and contemporary art, strengthening its connection to the city and its role as an open public space.
The jury awarded first and second prize to MVRDV and Kengo Kuma & Associates Europe, respectively.
