In 2023, the Vázquez Consuegra studio won the competition for the comprehensive rehabilitation of Castell Nou in Llinars del Vallès, transforming it into a multidisciplinary space for exhibitions and offices. The proposed intervention aims not only to restore the building’s historical character through its complete rehabilitation but also to give it a new, cultural and administrative purpose. It is, therefore, a revitalization of the old through contemporary reuse, integrating it into the city’s life cycle. Last Thursday, November 13th, Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra presented the project to the media and attendees, along with Martí Pujol (Mayor of Llinars del Vallès) and Albert Archs (ARCHS Constructora).
