From October 23 to November 2, 2025, the Royal Shipyards of Seville opened their doors to the public to showcase the results of the first phase of their restoration, led by architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra. During these days, admission was free, allowing visitors to tour the restored building for the first time and discover the project that will transform this iconic complex into a new cultural center for the city.

The project addresses the heritage restoration of the historic building and its adaptation to new cultural uses, while maintaining its architectural identity and its connection to the urban fabric of Seville. This first phase has highlighted the original spaces and laid the groundwork for the second phase of the works, which will continue in the coming months.

The final opening of the complex is planned for next year, when the building will be fully integrated into Seville’s cultural life as a space for encounter, dissemination, and contemporary creation.
