From November 20 to 23, 2025, Logroño will host the 23rd International Conference on Intervention in Historical and Artistic Heritage, organized by the COAR (Official Association of Architects of La Rioja) and the Architects of La Rioja Cultural Foundation under the theme “Palimpsest: Present Memories.”

The conference brings together architects and specialists to discuss how to intervene in historical heritage without erasing its memory, combining conservation and creativity. Speakers will include Emilio Tuñón, José Miguel León, Estudio Álvarez-Sala and Ruiz-Larrea & Asociados, and Pablo Millán.

For Vázquez Consuegra, this conference is an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between contemporary architecture and historical legacy, a central theme in his work.
